Project Overview
The photography project captured a comprehensive set of images for editorial, digital, and social media use. The shoot focused on the distillery’s internal locations, including the venue bar, casks, and stills. Product shots featured the three whisky expressions both together and individually. The tasting setups were photographed in close-up, highlighting menu cards and tasting notes. Whisky was paired with various foods before the guests arrived, coordinated with the brand ambassador. David and Vanessa, the co-founders, were photographed together, while David and Nick were captured tasting whisky, nosing, and chatting. Collaborative shots included David, Vanessa, and Dave from Manly Spirits alongside Nick and Alain from Mino & Co Wines, both with the three expressions and during a Q&A session. The guest experience was documented, starting with their arrival in front of branded barrels or stills, through the whisky and food pairing tasting, and during each of the three tasting rounds, each lasting around 15 minutes. Detailed close-ups were also taken, showing hands holding whisky glasses, nosing, and tasting without capturing faces.
